Author Ann Bausum

Ann Bausum writes about U.S. history for young people from her home in Beloit, Wisconsin, and speaks at schools across the country about her work as a children’s book author. In 2010 her eighth title with National Geographic Children's Books was released to starred reviews: Unraveling Freedom: The Battle for Democracy on the Home Front during World War One. National Geographic will publish her next book in early 2012: Marching to the Mountaintop: How Poverty, Race, and Civil Rights Set the Stage for Martin Luther King’s Final Hours.
