Meet Julie Bowe, Children’s Author
What was Julie like as a kid? Did she always want to be a writer? How did My Last Best Friend become a book? Using a PowerPoint presentation and lots of audience participation, Julie will discuss what a writer needs (tools, imagination, patience), what a story needs (characters, setting, plot) and answer questions from the audience. Several students will be invited up front to help Julie “show and tell” about the publication of her first children’s book.
