Lisa Moser feels very blessed to be a children’s book author because she gets to do what she loves every day. She gets to read. She gets to write. And on her very best days, she gets to talk to children about reading and writing. Before Lisa was an author and stay-at-home mom, she was a fifth grade teacher, and she’s proud to say she was never beaten in a footrace by any of her students!
Lisa’s was inspired to become an author when her Grandma Crockett sent her handwritten stories in the mail. She hopes to bring that joy to others as well.

Author Visits:
Lisa offers a variety of programs, and you can mix and match presentations, tailoring them to your school or organization’s needs. She also offers church presentations and other writing speeches. Here’s a sample of what’s available, but for more presentations, details and descriptions, please visit her website.
- “Just Like You…”
This presentation is Lisa’s most popular and often requested program. Children love to hear the personal stories behind her books, see the pictures on PowerPoint, and learn how her writing process parallels their own. To her delight, they laugh often as the stories unfold.
- Writing Workshop I
Lisa loves presenting this writing workshop because EACH student
leaves with their very own list of 216 possible story ideas!
